Working with the architect, the W. S. Feldt Cabinet Shop crafted contemporary and truly one-of-a-kind pieces for this crisp contemporary home. The warm, rich and aged wood of the oval black walnut dining table mixes in by standing on an angular blackened-steel base. The walnut is 1 ¼-inch thick at its center and gradually narrows as it reaches its edges.
The upstairs office has a sky-high view of its surroundings. To keep this room as spare as possible and open to the views, W.S. Feldt crafted a combination sofa and desk. Again in black walnut. The sofa was built in six modules for easy installation. It provides the functionality of a full room’s worth of furnishings while maintaining a low (but elegant) profile. It’s all about the view here.
