Clyde Hill Lounge

Imagine a custom-built environment tailored perfectly to your passions, offering a seamless retreat from the daily grind without ever changing your address. The ultimate luxury isn’t just beautiful design; it’s a space that works entirely on your terms.

This Clyde Hill project accomplished exactly that by building a quiet, jewel-box oasis for family and friends to retreat to. Rather than adding a room down the hall, we built an autonomous glass-walled lounge designed to operate as its own sanctuary space. Sweeping glass and a sleek roofline with minimal overhangs maximize natural light, seamlessly immersing the structure into natural topography.

The lounge opens directly onto a private covered patio featuring a firepit seating area oriented to capture the sun. This space flows naturally into a shared area anchored by a custom BBQ and pizza oven that bridges both structures.

Inside, this modern retreat balances high-end functionality with a distinct identity separate from the main house. A central media den and custom bar area create a warm gathering space perfect for shared meals and movie nights. A private guest suite gives family and friends a peaceful bedroom and full bath to retreat in. A lofty home gym offers a spacious dedicated workout environment that supports a healthy lifestyle.

Throughout the interior, a blend of warm textures and vibrant visual anchors gives the space a sophisticated, vibrant energy. The result is a striking modern haven that offers the perfect balance of architectural luxury and separate, flexible living.
